✂️ Sheet metal to cut. An angle grinder that’s overkill. Tin snips that leave ragged edges.
Angle grinders overshoot. Tin snips require grip strength and leave torn edges. A jigsaw needs a blade change and clamps. METALSLICER attaches to the drill you already own and cuts thin metal sheet, roofing, mesh, copper, and aluminium with clean, burr-free edges at the cutting line – guided by the built-in positioning slot, no freehand guessing.
🎯 What it cuts and exactly how thick.
Iron plate: 0.8-1 mm | White iron sheet: 1-1.2 mm | Steel plate: 0.8-1 mm | Copper: up to 1.5 mm | Aluminium: up to 1.5 mm. Also compatible with carpet, cardboard, leather, corrugated steel roofing, and perforated sheet. Not suitable for bent, ribbed, deformed, or welded plates – flat sheet only.
⚠️ This tool generates sparks. Safety goggles and gloves are mandatory.
METALSLICER produces sparks during cutting – do not use near flammable materials or liquids, and work outdoors or in a well-ventilated area where possible. Wear safety goggles and protective gloves for every cut. If the cutter jams in the sheet, reverse the drill direction to release it – never push or force it through. Disconnect the drill before making any adjustments.
🔧 Insert into chuck. Attach stabilising rod. Position. Cut.
Slide the hex shaft into the drill chuck and tighten. Screw the stabilising rod into the gear head and clip the spring to the drill handle – the full assembly takes under two minutes with the included hex key and double-sided wrench. Place the metal sheet between the cutting wheels, activate the drill, and guide steadily away from your body. Use the 12V-21V electric drill you already own.
